All good things must come to an end as Arsenal's fine unbeaten Premiership run finally came to an end as Man Utd “demolish” a 2-0 victory to Arsenal. Ruud van Nistelrooy exorcised his demons, slotting home from the spot, before Wayne Rooney, on his 19th birthday, bagged his first Premiership goal for United. After the match Arsene Wenger, manger of Arsenal launched criticism on Rooney, referee Mike Riley and United rough-house tactics. To me, it was crystal clear that few things have to be investigates, referee’s controlversial decision, rio’s contact to ljungberg, ruud’s tackle on Cole, rooney’s “won” the penalty, Arsenal’s fire house suddenly decrease. Seriously, to me, Arsenal didn’t play like they used to. But not to forget, skipper Rio Ferdinand had major impact and boost in the defensive wall of Man Utd .
